What is it?
Conflict Resolution is a process of working through opposing views in order to reach a common goal or mutual purpose. Conflict Resolution aims to settle disputes and solve problems with violence. Different methods can be used to increase co-operation, promote reconciliation and strengthen relationships.

Conflict Resolution evolved in 1950's and 1960's at the height of the Cold War when the development of nuclear weapons and conflict between super powers was threatening human survival. Small group scholars from different disciplines came together to study conflict as a general phenomenon (e.g. international relations, domestic politics, industrial relations, communities, families and between individuals.) Conflict resolution as we know it came about in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Since this time, many individuals, communities, organisations and companies use conflict resolution as a way of making their lives better, improving morale and increasing productivity.

Serendipity is an independant mediator and arbitrator and is not affiliated with any company, ensuring the process is completely unbiased. Because of our independence, Serendipity deals only with consensual Negotiation, Mediation, Conciliation & Facilitation in order to build win/win outcomes.
